We are happy to announce the introduction of SketchUp Viewer for VR, the latest addition to the Viewer family! SketchUp Viewer for VR is compatible with Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Vive Pro headsets. In addition, we are pleased to announce that we now support the plethora of Windows Mixed Reality VR headsets with the latest release of SketchUp Viewer for Windows Mixed Reality!
Here’s a break down to help you find the viewer app that will best suit your needs.
- SketchUp Viewer for Mobile gives you the power to view designs on any iOS and Android device. The mobile app even supports AR model viewing on ARKit and ARCore enabled devices. You can install SketchUp Viewer for free from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Access to AR model viewing features are included for all active SketchUp Shop, SketchUp Pro, and SketchUp Studio subscribers.
- SketchUp Viewer for VR brings your projects to life in VR. The app supports Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Vive Pro headsets. You can download a Windows installer from your My Apps page at sketchup.com. SketchUp Viewer for VR is available for users with an active SketchUp Pro or SketchUp Studio subscription.
- SketchUp Viewer for Windows Mixed Reality is designed to support the ever-expanding list of mixed reality headsets offered by Microsoft and its partners. SketchUp Viewer for Windows Mixed Reality can be installed from the Microsoft Store and is available for users with an active SketchUp Pro or SketchUp Studio subscription.
