Extension Inspection: SketchFX

May 22, 2018 Aaron Dietzen

Using Styles is a great way to customize the look of your model, but sometimes you need to take it just a bit further. With SketchFX from Fluid Interactive, you can take styles to the next level, and get post-processing graphics right out of SketchUp!

SketchFX gives you control over a whole slew of effects that can be layered on your SketchUp model, allowing you to create visuals that would normally require you to fire up your favorite photo editing software.

SketchFX is available in two flavors; SketchFX Pro (for applying visual filters and effects to images) and SketchFX EX (which includes the ability to apply effects to animations). Check out this Extension Inspection video to see SketchFX in action!

If you like SketchFX, then it may also be worth checking out some of Fluid Interactive’s other extensions on the Extension Warehouse like Ambient Occlusion or VizPro!
