Modeling from Scan Data – David Burczyk, Mitchel Stangl | 3D Basecamp 2018

David Burczyk Field Technology Group-Trimble Buildings Segment Manager Westminster, CO Mitchel Stangl Stangl Associates Master Planner Compiling the vast amount of data collected from 3D scanning into a comprehensive 3D model can be a challenging task. This class provides a quick overview of registering point clouds in Realworks and demonstrates the workflow for modeling point clouds in SketchUp using the plugin Undet. Software and temporary licenses for the class will be available at the Trimble and Undet booths. Participants will need a laptop running Windows (either a Windows laptop or a Mac running bootcamp). Everyone will need to install and activate the software prior to the class.
