Client communication: the key to better projects

What!?! You haven’t heard of Nick Sonder? He’s kind of a big deal here on the SketchUp Blog thanks to his striking SketchUp models and LayOut documents.

Beyond the final product, one of the things that sets Nick apart is his brilliant communication with clients throughout his whole process. We were excited to learn that, for years, he’s been using a platform provided by our friends at Houzz to organize design ideas and collaborate with clients.

We went to visit Nick to talk about how he uses Houzz to exchange ideas with clients and how it all translates into a SketchUp model. At the end of the day it adds up to less rework and more happy clients, so get familiar with Nick and his workflow. It’ll make your life a whole lot easier.
