Freshly Sketched: Adobe Dimension 2.0 is 3D for Graphic Designers
Today, at Adobe MAX, we are excited to join with Adobe in announcing that native SketchUp interoperability has been added to Adobe Dimension 2.0.
When Adobe Dimension 1.0 was launched about a year ago, it introduced the world to a new kind of creative space. One that brought the macrocosms of 2D graphic design and 3D modeling together into one simplified tool. For traditional Illustrator and Photoshop users, Dimension gave a spatial context to classic graphic design work like product packaging, product photo shoots, and apparel design. For architects and interior designers, Dimension offered a new way to work with presentation renderings. And for artists of all kinds, Dimension blissfully blurred the line between 2D and 3D.
Today, Dimension 2.0 is being released, and the team has been super busy! Interoperability between Dimension and the rest of Adobe’s Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop and Illustrator in particular) has been greatly improved. And one more thing…

Working on a new piece of furniture that you want to show off to the neighbor? With Dimension, you can make a beautiful rendering to show it off in high style. Maybe you’re working on an interior design for a new coffee shop? Drag and drop (yep, it’s that easy!) that model into Dimension and detail the labels on every bag of coffee beans.
