SketchUp Visiting Professionals Program: Real projects, presented by real people

Every school year, SketchUp sponsors college campus visits from industry leaders through our SketchUp Pro Visiting Professionals Program. These visits are an opportunity for students to gain insight into their future design careers while soaking up valuable SketchUp knowledge from an expert already working in a related design field. SketchUp’s visiting professionals have varied backgrounds, from architectural engineers to video game designers; our experts are equipped with the know-how to inspire young minds.

“The range of example projects really opened up the students' minds to what was possible with the tool - not just from a point of view of how fast, fancy or detailed you can get, but for the myriad ways SketchUp can be applied and used to solve problems.”
— Shannon Scrofano, California Institute of the Arts

SketchUp Visiting Professionals Program

We had a fantastic time, learned a ton, and couldn't be happier with the whole experience.
— David Goldsmith, Ph.D., Visiting Assistant Professor, Myers Lawson School of Construction

A visiting professional will lead students through a day of hands-on sessions and workshops, guiding them through the intricacies of SketchUp workflows while sharing their practical, real-world experience.

If you’re an educator at a higher education institution in the US/CA who wants to get the most out of SketchUp, apply for a visit today!

There are a limited number of visits for the 2016-2017 school year. To learn more, please visit http://www.sketchup.com/programs/visiting-professionals
